Learn to paint from an experienced muralist and painter.

Award winning local artist Linda Zolten Wood will help you create lovely works of art as you navigate the basics of color theory and mixing, application, composition and design. Work from a still-life, photo or just your imagination. Beginners/intermediate will gain dexterity in brush work as well as paint application. Students should bring a photo that they would like to work from as a reference.
One session 2 hours $70.00 per person includes materials fee.

You are welcome to take this class as many times as you like. After the first class, Linda will give you a materials list to bring with you to the class, and your class fee for any further classes will drop to $35.00 per session. You can also buy BYOB Class Workshop Vouchers for further session discounts.

Suggested Supplies List:
Photo or reference material
Synthetic sable brushes, small round, medium round,1/2 inch flat (soft, no bristle)
Plastic water container
Palette knife - small/medium
Tubes of acrylic (student grade is fine):
White, Yellow light, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium red light, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Thalo Blue, Hooker's Green (NO BLACK)
Tear-off palette or WHITE plastic plates
Primed canvas board, or stretched canvas-roughly 16"x 20"
