Brocante adornments by Carolyn Landis are fanciful wearable creations handcrafted from choice vintage buttons and select textiles using no-harm techniques to preserve the collectible quality of the buttons.

Flora and fauna, figurative, and botanical themes showcase Carolyn's work.  Pendants, necklaces, reticules, bracelets, and purse charms….ornamented for sheer pleasure.

Carolyn Landis is a self-taught needle worker and fabric aficionado with 50 years experience. 

She began creating a 7” doll’s luxe wardrobe fashioned from left-over garment hems ornamented with the glorious, imaginative buttons and trims of the 40’s and 50’s. Carolyn has come full circle to her current work using rescued textiles and buttons combined as wearable jewels, each a tiny picture or story.
