About Shaker Square Cleveland, Ohio

Shaker Square is the oldest shopping center in Ohio, and the second oldest in the United States, built by the Van Sweringen brothers, who also developed Shaker Heights, Ohio, one of the neighboring communities.
Shaker Square is centered at the intersection of Moreland and Shaker Boulevard, with the RTA rapid transit blue and green lines running through the center of the Square. Shaker Square, surrounded by residential condominiums, apartments, and houses, is on the eastern border of the city of Cleveland, Ohio right next to both Cleveland Heights and Shaker Heights, Ohio.
